FLUTTERNUTTER has been nominated as a FINALIST in two categories in the 2013 FAPA Book Awards in Daytona, FL: 

BEST CHILDREN'S Picture Book and BEST Cover Design.

I am SO excited!  My bags are packed and ready to go to this vibrant Florida city!

January 13, 2014-Literacy Days at the Norton Gardens in West Palm Beach, FL

Poetry will this year's focus on reading with the children--FLUTTERNUTTER will be the perfect choice!

I wrote this story in first person and also in poetry format.

To be sure, this will be a day to enjoy for all youngsters at, LITERACY DAYS AT THE NORTON GARDENS.

THE NOODLE CLUB is moving right along...we are still in the editing stage.

Currently, this is is quite an invloved process as my Publisher, Steve White and I review every detail throughout the book prior to going to print.

This adorable story is about dear friends who gather each day in the cooling pool and share stories of days gone by.

THE NOODLE CLUB should be released by late Fall 2013.

I was so excited to participate in the recent fundraiser at Picasso Paints in Lantana, Florida on August 3, 2013. 

Gifts baskets and door prizes were auctioned off and I donated a basket of children's books for the event, as well. 

Picasso Paints donated 15% of all sales from the day to, "Give Kids the World."

Way to go Stacia!!!!!

Well, here I am, back in beautiful, HOT FLORIDA! It is great to be home!  Being at the San Diego County FAIR was fantastic and the children and parents enjoyed listening to, AT THE PIG RACES. My time in southern California

This morning, I will be heading out to the Oceanside Pier, once again, to visit with my "fishing buddies" on the Pier, and give away bookmarks and pencils to the children.  I look forward to reading Flutternutter and Crow No More today.

This Florida gal has just arrived to her old, "stomping" ground in Oceanside, California!

Wow!  Today is an exciting morning, as FLUTTERNUTTER will arrive this afternoon from the printers up in Maryland.
